Full-Stack Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Leaning)

Backend depth with shipped React/TypeScript front-ends and product workflows.

Why hire me as Full-Stack Engineer?

I'm a backend-leaning full-stack engineer: strong on APIs, data, and infrastructure, with real production front-end work. I've shipped React/TypeScript for clients at TransData, built this Astro + React portfolio, and designed and built HireTrack end to end — React 19, Supabase (Auth + RLS), a LangGraph pipeline, client-side document tooling, and a PWA. I can own a feature from schema to UI.

What I've shipped

  • Designed and built HireTrack end to end — React 19 front-end, Supabase Auth + row-level security, LangGraph pipeline, and PWA
  • Shipped production React/TypeScript front-end work for clients at TransData
  • Built full-stack AI prompt-management tooling (Django/FastAPI backend, streaming UI, RBAC, S3)
  • Customized ERPNext/Frappe with page-level UI and backend scripts for internal task-management workflows
  • Built this portfolio on Astro + React with SEO/GEO, role-targeted pages, and CI/CD to GitHub Pages

HireTrack — AI Résumé Builder & Job Pipeline Tracker

Open-source, bring-your-own-key web app that tailors ATS-ready résumés to each job and tracks an interview pipeline — the tool I use to run my own job search. A deterministic-first LangGraph pipeline extracts job-description data and scores match/positioning; résumés export to ATS-safe DOCX, PDF, or Markdown entirely client-side. Truth-only tailoring mirrors JD phrasing with no invented skills or metrics, and every run appends honesty/verification notes. Supports 5 AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint), Supabase Postgres + Auth with row-level security, and installs as an offline-first PWA.

Personal Portfolio — mubashir-rehman.is-a.dev

Fully static personal portfolio built with Astro 5 — every route renders to HTML at build time from a single JSON data layer, with React reduced to small hydrated islands (an AI chatbot grounded in that same data, and the theme toggle). Features light/dark theming, a markdown-rendered journal, role-targeted landing pages, Astro view transitions, and a full SEO/AEO layer: JSON-LD structured data (Person, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, BlogPosting, ScholarlyArticle), Open Graph, auto-generated sitemap, llms.txt, and AI-crawler-friendly robots.txt. Deployed to GitHub Pages via GitHub Actions CI/CD.

AI Prompt Management Platform

Full-stack Django/FastAPI platform integrating OpenAI GPT-4 with streaming responses for prompt versioning, with modules for prompt templates, function helpers, and task planning. Implemented RBAC access control and secure S3 asset storage, deployed via Docker and CI/CD. Built at VeritusLabs for internal AI workflow management.

ERPNext / Frappe Customization & Internal Tooling

Customized ERPNext / Frappe v16 with custom doctypes, server scripts, client scripts, and page-level UI — including an Asana-style task-tree view for internal task management. Used the bench CLI and REST APIs for programmatic data management and bulk fixes, and researched ERPNext authentication/SSO options for integrating a custom Parts-Intelligence dashboard with ERP-backed access. Worked through role/permission, private-file, and reverse-proxy/WebSocket production concerns.

Frequently asked

Is Mubashir Rehman a full-stack developer?

Yes — he's a backend-leaning full-stack engineer. He has shipped production React/TypeScript for clients at TransData and built HireTrack end to end (React 19, Supabase Auth + RLS, a LangGraph pipeline, client-side DOCX/PDF tooling, and a PWA), as well as this Astro + React portfolio.

What front-end stack does he use?

React with TypeScript, Vite and Astro, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui — paired with Python/Django/FastAPI and Supabase/PostgreSQL on the backend.

Has he done commercial front-end work, or only side projects?

Commercial. At TransData he was the top contributor (~248 commits) on a production HL7 healthcare integration platform, building a React 19 + TypeScript + Vite frontend and a Node.js + TypeScript Express-style BFF (Sequelize, Jest) that proxies the platform's server API. That work included PHI-access auditing features and real-time message-trend dashboards.

Can he own a feature end to end, from database schema to UI?

Yes — HireTrack is the clearest proof. He designed and built it end to end: PostgreSQL schema on Supabase with Auth and row-level security, a deterministic-first LangGraph pipeline for job-description extraction and match scoring, a React 19 front-end, client-side DOCX/PDF/Markdown export, and an offline-first PWA deployed on Vercel. This portfolio is a second example — Astro + React with SEO/GEO structured data and CI/CD to GitHub Pages.

How is his time split between front-end and back-end?

He is backend-leaning: 3+ years of Python with Django, Django REST Framework, and FastAPI, including owning the core backend of a multi-tenant SaaS platform (7 services, 60+ REST endpoints) end to end as primary backend engineer. The front-end work — React, TypeScript, Vite, Astro, Tailwind, shadcn/ui — is real and shipped, but the deepest expertise is in APIs, data modelling, and infrastructure.

Is he available for remote full-stack roles?

Yes — he is open to remote roles in any timezone. He is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and on-site work in Lahore is also an option.
